Summer Vacation
As per the Circular & notification by the Education Dpt. Of Delhi Govt. our school is closed for summer vacation form April 23rd to June 9th.
We are With You Programme
In order to increase the togetherness and “We Feeling” all class teachers contact the students through phone once in two weeks. The students are so happy to talk to their teachers and share the news. Our teachers console the students who lost their relatives due to Corona virus and advise them to keep Covid-protocol for their safety.
Week-End Entertainment Programme
For making our students enthusiastic and to foster their artistic skills class teachers conduct week-end Entertainment Programme on Saturday / Sunday evening for the students. During that time students perform different cultural activities using online platform. The family members also enjoy the time along with their kids.
Mother’s Day Celebration
On May 9th, we celebrated virtual Mother’s Day with students. Teachers send different videos related to the day and given special task like Greeting Card to Mom, Cook with Mom etc. Students enjoyed the day with their family.
School Re-Opens
After the summer vacation declared by the Education Dpt. of Delhi, the school reopened on 9th June, 2021. All classes resume the online teaching.
Re-Opening Ceremony
The Re-opening of school after the summer vacation done by a grant ceremony. Mr. Jovial Vaghela (Chairman, SMC), Mr. Mark Clive (General Secretary & CEO), Mr. Feroze Khan (Secretary, YMCA Nizamuddin) and Fr. Rajeev Thomas (Principal, YPS) gave greetings and motivational messages to students and staff. Mrs. Alpana Podar and Mrs. Sheena Subroi extended the welcome speech and vote of thanks respectively.
International Yoga Day Observance
We observed International Yoga Day on June 21st by conducting a mass Yoga Practice for all students and Teachers. It was a 30 minutes programme guided by our Physical Education Trainer Mr. Edward Pershad. School principal Fr. Rajeev Thomas did the inauguration with a message.
Periodic Test -1 is starting from July 22nd
As per the CBSE curriculum we start the exams (Periodic Test-1) from July 26th. The exam will be included written exam & Oral exam for Pre- primary. For primary section it will include written & Google form MCQs.
Online Parent’s Orientation
Parent’s orientations is being conducted in online platform for different classes. During the Parent’s Orientation programme YMCA School principal Fr. Rajeev Thomas pointed out the responsibilities of parents to provide better arrangements at home for students to attend online class. There were discussion time to clarify the doubts and share the suggestions by the parents.

Independence Day Celebration
Independence Day 2021 online celebrations will be held on 15th August, 2021 at 8 am. The programme will include Flag Hoisting, National Anthem, Messages and Patriotic-Cultural events by the staff and students.
E-Certificate to the participants & winners
E-Certificate will be distributed to the participants & winners of various competitions on August 15th.
PT-1 Result Declaration
The soft copy of Periodic Test-1 Result will be declared on August 21st, Saturday.
