New Delhi YMCA - Rural Development Centre, Hodal, Haryana

Overview

The New Delhi YMCA responding to the Government of India's call for self-reliance in Foodgrains initiated setting up of a Rural Development Centre in Hodal Haryana in 1972.The project envisaged a comprehensive and integrated approach towards improving the quality of life in Rural areas.

Programmes and Activities

The programmes at the centre creates opportunities for young people from the Rural community to participate in various Sports, Vocational training , Virtual learning institutes, Computer education and other skills to prepare themselves for the future.

YMCA Public School strives to be an institution that promotes academic excellence and intellectual curiosity. To provide an environment which fosters children's growth;where they grow up to be emotionally stable,tolerant with a sound value system that demonstrates compassion and integrity.The focus of the school is to develop and maintain effective educational programs most suited for the needs of changing world.To provide opportunities for constant participation in various sports , games and wide range of cultural (Co Curricular ) activities .
